BARCELONA is part of the Offcut Studies series, exploring structure through repetition and material variation.

The piece is composed of assembled wood fragments arranged in a rhythmic sequence, creating a layered composition that emphasises texture, depth, and proportion.

Its vertical orientation and modular organisation give it an architectural quality, where each element contributes to a larger structural system.
 

The work reflects an interest in how simple components can be combined to form cohesive and ordered compositions, balancing material expression with spatial clarity.

Materials
Cedar, black formica and brown and green MDF. Finish with clear matt osmo oil.
